Military worldwide. The CVL is currently
being used by the world’s most elite forces,
providing and easy to mount, quick to zero,
visible aiming light with
unmatched beam quality and performance.
Operations
Features of the CVL make this Visible aiming
light simple to operate.
Mounting the CVL is easily accomplished by
using an integral rail grabber mounting bracket
which enables the device to be attached
directly to a Mil Std 1913 Dimensioned Rail
(Picatinny Rail) or Rail Adapter System M4 or
M5. Once mounted the CVL can be zeroed to
the weapon using the Elevation and Azimuth
adjusters. The CVL is activated by an
ON/OFF Switch located on the rear of the CVL
and can easily be switched by either
hand. In addition the CVL can also be
operated using a cable switch to activate
in momentary ON/OFF, or CONTINUOUS mode.
Performance
The CVL is a highly durable lightweight
device manufactured with advanced
engineering polymers for maximum utility
and durability. Operates on a single,
universally available, 1.5V AA battery, the
range of the CVL is greater than 500
meters in low light conditions. In addition,
each CVL is tested to withstand the harsh
battlefield conditions and the most
stringent military environmental
specifications to include submersion to 66
ft. of water. The CVL is for use with either
naked eyes, powered optics, or night vision
devises. Whether mounted or hand held the
CVL can be used to accurately direct fire
as well as designate targets.
